There are of course all the famous cities such as Nice, Monaco, Cannes, St.Tropez, St. Raphael, Hyeres, Toulon, Marseille, Avignon, Arles and Nimes, etc.
Further more we have the whole coastal route and the smaller villages of Provence. Vence and St. Paul, and the town of perfume Grasse. Biot, with all there art glass manufactoring. Water World in Antibes. Port Grimod – Venice of France, and many other places.
France also offers many great outdoor experiences. Gorges du Verdun, grottoes, Cascade du Sillans, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Pont du Gard, beautiful lagoons, and not to forget the beautiful mountains.
This is obviously only small samples of what you can see, and most people are aware of several good travelling guides in book form, and then we of course have the Internet as a search option too. |
